A set of two vintage reproduction prints by Louis Van Houtte (1810-1876), a Belgian horticulturist and proprietor of the largest nursery of its time on the continent. For almost 40 years, Van Houtte produced a monthly periodical on the subject of horticulture. Featuring lavish botanical plates, the magazine was published by his own printing office in the middle of the gardens.
