Flaxley, the seat of Mrs. Bovey, and Snell, The Seat of Sir Robert Alkyns. These are wonderfully detailed vintage prints of original engravings from the work entitled The Ancient and Present State of Gloucestershire, by Johannes Kip. The work was published in 1768. Kip's engravings are quite important historically, displaying the formal garden before the natural garden gave way.
