    This is a pair of vintage fine art reproductions of an original engraving by John Gould. Gould (1804-1881), probably the most famous British Ornithologist and a contemporary of America’s own John James Audubon had truly earned the nickname "the Bird man" with his prolific publication of as many as 2999 paintings of Birds. From the libraries of the British Museum, exclusively for Trowbridge. These are a Limited edition of 100 prints. The reproductions were made in 1989.

    Trowbridge was founded in England in 1981 by Martin Trowbridge. The company is known for its superior reproduction fine art and antique prints, black-and-white photographs, textiles, and original works in handmade frames.
