Jules Ferdinand Jacquemart was born in Paris in 1837 and became a French etcher, illustrator, and watercolorist. He received his early training from his father, an amateur artist, botanical illustrator and author. His earliest known work is an etching showing a selection of Chinese and Japanese artifacts, produced in 1859. His etchings reflect his skill in rendering reflections and conveying textures and colors. This is a pair of vintage reproductions of original watercolors of vases.

Trowbridge was founded in England in 1981 by Martin Trowbridge. The company is known for its superior reproduction fine art and antique prints, black-and-white photographs, textiles, and original works in handmade frames.
