Why We Love This

A rare 58-piece set of fine china with white stripes on white, designed by Dorothy Thorpe. Set made in the 1960s in Japan. The tea cups are lined in sterling silver. The set includes five tea cups (5"Dia x 2"H), 10 dinner plates (10.5"Dia), 12 luncheon plates (7.5"Dia), 12 bread and butter plates (7"Dia), 12 saucers (6"Dia), soup bowls (7.5"Dia), two large bowls (10"Dia x 3"H and 9.25"Dia x 2.5"H). Some marked: DTC (Dorothy Thorpe California) Made in Japan.
