As described by
Beautiful and unique American Centennial server. Recently taken to the Antiques Roadshow, where experts confirmed this piece is a 19th-century American chest most likely built during the Federal revival of the 1876 Centennial. Constructed of walnut with fan, checkered, and string inlays. Fantastic massive paw feet, and the rear legs have string and checker inlay on the front and exposed sides. Working keys are included. Good condition with age-appropriate wear.
