This small handcrafted pitcher is perfect for serving everything from milk to sauces, and it can also double as an artisanal vase. The blend of natural tone and white glaze gives this piece an especially charming look.
Caroline Wallner understands that pottery is personal. She began her line in 1998, making each piece herself in two beautifully atmospheric spaces--an old horse barn in New York’s Hudson River Valley, and a sod-roof studio in West Cork, Ireland. "My inspiration shifts and morphs. It comes from the world I inhabit at the time," she tells us. "The colors of the Hudson Valley, my children, their explorations and discoveries, my friends, their art, the earth, the sky, and sometimes just happy mistakes."
