Victoria Morris Pottery
Simple hand-thrown vase in the style of a midcentury Scandinavian piece.
California native Victoria Morris has been making pottery of various sorts for half of her life. Inspired by midcentury Scandinavian forms as well as traditional Japanese aesthetics and craftsmanship, Victoria emphasizes simplicity of form as well as the beauty found in the subtle, random imperfections inherent to traditional pottery. Working from her studio in Echo Park, CA, she throws each piece by hand, creating a variety of functional objects and art pieces that are uniquely her own.
