“I joke that my style reflects my ADD; it’s a mix that transcends styles, generations, and degrees of formality,” says aesthete, businessman, and curator Michael Polenske, who wears too many hats to list them all here. “I celebrate the perfection of imperfection: when pieces show their age and are pulled together with both confidence and nonchalance.” Polenske is the founder of the idyllic Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley, an aspirational, edited setting reminiscent of a private club that includes an art, design, and wine-tasting gallery with an outdoor sculpture garden.
