Why We Love This

Pair of hand-painted cornucopia vases, marked "Italy" and P.V.," indicating the New York-based import firm of Mittledorfer-Strauss, which was active from the 1920s to the 1970s. The letters P.V. stands for "Peasant Village." Each vase has been hand-painted with a unique, though similar, floral design. A porcelain capodimonte-style floral appliqué adorns the tip of each cornucopia.
