Appleton Co, New York, 1897. 158 pp. 124 plates. 3/4 heavy polished calf over suede boards, gilt title and devices on front board, gilt letters on spine. Edge and corner wear and cracking leather on spine. Text and plates are on glossy paper and the photographically illustrated horses and carriages are extremely well done.
