The Spirit of St. Louis by Charles Lindbergh. NY: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1953. First Edition. Hardcover lacking dust jacket. Bound in blue cloth with a silver gilt plane on the front cover. This is the fascinating account of the events leading up to and including Lindbergh's flight across the Atlantic in the custom-made Spirit of St. Louis. This book won a Pulitzer Prize in 1954.
