In this enchanting work by the artist Parvez Taj, the sun sets on the town of Jose Ignacio, a small village on the southern coast of Uruguay. The image is printed with UV inks on reclaimed wood siding. Taj collected wood from older white barns across the United States and carefully matched each piece on which to print the work of art. Given the wood’s age and previous use, it is likely to have irregularities such as knots, stains, or an uneven surface. These imperfections add character and patina to this fine work of art. No piece will look the same, making them truly one of a kinds.
This work is hand-signed by the artist, with a bio on the back.
