These decorative and colorful Kimono designs are from a mid-nineteenth century woodblock printed book produced in Kyoto, Japan, which was celebrated for its textile designs which was titled Hinagata miyako no nishiki or Colorful Patterns of the Capital. Our gesso and wood frames are hand finished by craftsmen using traditional 17th century Florentine techniques. This frame is hand finished in a lemon silver.
