Matisse referred to this work as "The overpowering climax of luminosity." A brilliant exercise in form, color, and movement, the painting dates to 1909, and is one of the enduring masterpieces of 20th century art. From the collection of New York's MoMA, this print has been custom-framed in one of MunnWorks's hand-finished frames with wooden molding.

Established in 1955, MunnWorks is known for its superiorly crafted custom-made frames for fine art and mirrors. Its frames hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. The company's own holdings include many important works of art by masters of the 20th century, from Dalí to Matisse.
