As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Red Dragon by Thomas Harris. New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1981. First printing. A fine copy of Harris's sought-after second novel, the pre-cursor to Silence of the Lambs. We have the dubious pleasure of meeting Dr. Hannibal Lecter for the first time. Previous owner's name has been erased from first end page, otherwise a very good copy, with tiny nick and faint yellowing to back of jacket. Near fine in near fine dust jacket. Very collectible hardcover.
