Why We Love This

Mixed media collage by Japanese-American artist Nobuo Kitagaki (1918-1984), 1966. Displayed in a restored midcentury brown wood frame with hanging hardware on verso. Unsigned. Kitagaki had one-person exhibitions at the Lucien LaBaudt Gallery and the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, and he exhibited in group shows at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
