A fine print of the original photograph, from a limited edition of 25. This work is part of photographer Graham Kuhn’s “New York Series,” in which he captured street life in charming black-and-white moments. Shot before the attacks of 9/11, the images are tinged with innocence and nostalgia for the not-too-distant past. The work is set in a wood frame and arrives ready to hang.
The British-born photographer Graham Kuhn began shooting photographs with his grandfather’s Hasselblad camera. His images have a sharp, elegant style that feels both immediate and timeless. Kuhn has worked in Los Angeles, where he photographed subjects including Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman, as well as New York. New York has proved fertile ground for inspiration; Kuhn says the city “took a hold of me from the first five minutes, and I felt like I belonged there.” He now divides his time between Paris and the resort town of Biarritz, France.
