Rural London in Pictures by E.O. Hoppé. London: Odhams Press, 1951. First edition, 128 pages. Nearly 120 black-and-white photographs of surprisingly rural bits of London that still existed in 1951. Four main sections, plus a pictorial map of the London postal area. A fine copy in green boards and a slightly rubbed pictorial dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
