This is a handmade screen print. The image is printed on half-inch plywood, which gives it a rustic appeal. To complete the charmingly aged look, the entire work is distressed by hand.
Laurie and Lee Dayvault, the creative force behind Go Jump in the Lake, began making signs casually in 2005. The rest evolved from there, as they explain: “We live near the lake just north of Atlanta, so it was very natural for us. At first, it was just lakes. But it very quickly grew from there! After our first craft show, people began asking us for just about every beach, historic town and saying you can imagine. So we got to work making them!” Each design smacks of their energy, creativity, and fresh sense of fun.
