1907 hardcover edition of Mrs. Beeton's Everyday Cookery with embossed cover depicting an interiors scene. Black and white prints inside illustrating several recipes. Worn corners and binding, hand-written notes in the margins of some pages, recipes pasted into inside of front and back covers. Mrs. Beeton was the first English cookery writer, starting with her first book, Mrs. Beeton's Book of Household Management, first published in 1861.
About the Seller
Abeille Antiquités was born out of a passion for vintage and antique items. Rachel Boyette is the daughter of lawyer-turned-antique dealer Beth Fleishman, whose business Knickknack Paddywhack is based in North Carolina. Since graduating from college in 2010, Rachel has lived in France. She developed Abeille Antiquités at the beginning of 2013.
