With paintings such as Untitled (Violet, Black, Orange, Yellow on White and Red) Mark Rothko arrived at his mature idiom. For years he explored the expressive potential of stacked rectangular fields of luminous color, using abstract means to express universal human emotions, earnestly striving to create an awe-inspiring intensity for a secular world. From the collection of New York's Guggenheim Museum, this fine print has been custom-framed in an beautiful frame with hand-finished molding.

Established in 1955, MunnWorks is known for its superiorly crafted custom-made frames for fine art and mirrors. Their frames hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. The company's own holdings include many important works of art by masters of the 20th century, from Dalì to Matisse.
