Why We Love This

Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke. He won numerous awards, including an Oscar for best actor for his performance in the 1986 Martin Scorsese film The Color of Money and eight other nominations, three Golden Globe Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Cannes Film Festival Award, an Emmy award, and many honorary awards. This is a fine print of the original photograph. It is set in a gesso and wood frame which has been hand-finished by craftsmen using traditional 17th-century Florentine techniques. The frame is hand-painted in black.
