Why We Love This

Coral cameo bib from the late 19th century. Each cameo is finely carved in high relief and represents young women with flowing flower-strewn hair. The frame on each cameo is surrounded by ornate 18K gold scroll and beadwork. Each woman's carving is slightly different in a wonderful creamsicle marbled coral. Chains and coral beads join the many motifs to form this impressive bib.
