Why We Love This

David Haeger opened a brick company providing building materials to reconstruct Chicago after the fire of 1871. Noteworthy designers have worked for Haeger, including Royal Hickman (1938). An entire art pottery division, Royal Haeger, carries his first name. Pair of Mid-Century Modern candleholders modeled after the bud of a calla lily. The 1950s Royal Haeger release (code # R -1285) carried a foil label and were unmarked but are well documented in Haeger reference books.
