Why We Love This

A gilt-painted red lacquer cabinet with square corners and an overhanging top,19th century. The doors are constructed with extended pivotal hinges. The aprons are simple. The side panels are strengthened with extra braces on the outside. The gilt paintings are worn but can be seen at close examination.
