As described by
Interesting oil of sailboats with a village in the background, by Texas artist D. Wallace. The artist, who painted from the 1930s until his death in the early 1970s was completely paralyzed except for his hands and arms. He painted lying in his bed. This exceptional example of his work features an unexpected palette of goldenrod and mauves expressing a unique vision of a seascape. Signed lower right. In original period mellowed giltwood frame.
