Pair of large hand-shaped ceramic spoons matched with fitted driftwood handles. The locally sourced wood is cut, sanded, cleaned, and oiled while retaining its natural shape and form. Due to their handmade nature, items may slightly vary from the one pictured.

About Linda Fahey

“I am a hand builder--I rarely use a potter’s wheel,” says Bay Area artist Linda Fahey, whose work is a celebration of natural textures and influences. She has a penchant for combining the beauty and softness of porcelain with the semi-unfinished surface and style of naturally aged driftwood. “I make my pieces with slabs of clay and coils. My work is designed to emphasize its handmade quality--you can see the seams and how the pieces are constructed.” Linda is also a figurative sculptor and has shown her work annually the last 6 years at the California Conference for the Advancement of Clay Arts.
