Why We Love This

Very fine British burled yew three3-compartment George III tea caddy, circa 1810. Features an ivory escutcheon, brass lion head handles and stands on highly stylized gilt brass ball and claw feet. Interior has two inlaid and lidded rosewood boxes, string inlay and pom-pom details inside the lid. The highly figured wood has a fantastic patina and is trimmed in boxwood stringing. Comes with the original glass mixing bowl.
