Why We Love This

Superb Georgian rosewood and brass writing slope with lovely patina. The brass straps over the dovetailed corners are typical of English campaign style furniture, giving a piece some sturdiness while being carried over long and difficult journeys. The desk also has its original key. The interior is a fine, black leather writing surface with decorative gold leaf edges. The surface opens to reveal storage space for documents and secret drawers.
