This numbered print by Marc Chagall, from limited edition of 375, was printed directly from stone lithograph plates and custom-framed. Plate signed and with embossed signature.
Russian by birth, Marc Chagall was educated in St. Petersburg and Paris, eventually emigrating to France in 1923. His early influences were Russian expressionism and French cubism, but Chagall created a style that was unique to the 20th century. His mastery of color suffuses his paintings and prints as well as the stained glass work that he created for European cathedrals.
