A limited edition, stone block lithograph, pencil-signed and numbered. A grand ship docked in a harbor with a sleepy town in the foreground. Custom framed. Born in England, John Stobart began sketching vessels during an early voyage to South Africa. In the 1960s, he emigrated to the United States, where he has become the preeminent American marine painter. A careful researcher, Stobart is known for his historically accurate, dramatic renderings of maritime scenes.

Established in 1955, APF Munn continues to create superiorly crafted, custom frames for fine art and mirrors. The company's frames hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. APF Munn's own holdings include many important works of art by masters of the 20th century, from Dalì to Matisse.
