Le Feu de l'Eau (which translates to "the fire of water") candle, inspired by the "fantasy candles" of the late 1960s. Garden rose scent.
Instead of using molds, Le Feu de l'Eau designer Wendy Polish and London-born makeup artist Jo Strettell create their candles by pulling scented soy wax through water (hence the company name, which translates to “the fire of water). “We approach our product from the point of view of a fine artist,” says Polish, who co-founded the L.A. company in 2011. “We are inspired by texture, fragrance, color, photography, fashion, and beauty.”
