Why We Love This

Portrait of Ina Claire, gouache on board by Cecil Beaton (unsigned). Undated, it precedes 1947, as it is included in an image of Claire's San Francisco living room published in the Revised Edition of House Garden's Complete Guide to Interior Decoration. Image size: 24"L x 18"W. Ina Claire was an actress who typically played society women, which she herself became as the wife of William Wallace. Glass is included to protect during shipping, but it needs to be replaced.
