Why We Love This

Unique and fine antique circa 1925 hand-carved wood ceremonial carving from the Luba tribes in Tanganyika, Africa. Central figure has a square wing-like structure radiating from back. The wing-like structure has two faces set in diamond shaped cut-outs. Eyes and mask have some remnants of a reddish, burnt orange paint. Edges of the square wing-like structure has holes.
