This image of a cluster of trees over water gives us a graceful look at nature. The long, thin lines of the trees blend harmoniously together and reflect in the water. The aqua tops of the trees provides a cool pop of color. This work is printed on archival paper and set on a white mat. It is framed in silver-finished wood.
Sara Abbott's foray into the art world began with photography. Although she loved the black-and-white process, she began mixing paint with photographs and using found objects such as car doors for frames and fire to light up an image. Her body of work has grown to include light boxes, abstract paintings with photographic transfers, and large-scale photographs mounted on Plexiglas. Abbott's work has been collected all over the world.
