About Haand

Friends since their Florida high-school days, Haand's Mark Warren and Chris Pence make slip-cast porcelain in shapes that defy the regularity of molds. Working from a North Carolina farmhouse and relying on rainwater for production, they shut off their 2300°F kiln just as the porcelain in the molds verges on liquid. “Each piece,” they say, “is frozen in a unique state of movement and transition and has its own character and variation.” http://haand.us
