First edition, 224 pages. profusely illustrated with color photographs by Martin Charles as well as vintage black-and-white engravings, photographs and drawings. History, yes, but also a wonderful view of this UNESCO World Heritage city. A fine copy in boards and a price-clipped dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
