Dalí frequently used fantastic exaggerations of recognizable images in his work, like this sleepy gondola in the canals of Venice. This etching is from the original plate, drawn and pencil-signed by the artist in 1968.

Dalí is one of the most controversial artists of the 20th century. Brilliant, innovative, grandiose and flamboyant, he is credited with the popularization of Surrealism.

Established in 1955, MunnWorks is known for its superiorly crafted custom-made frames for fine art and mirrors. Its frames hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. The company's own holdings include many important works of art by masters of the 20th century, from Dalí to Matisse.
