Born in 1922, for almost 70 years Jeremiah Goodman has interpreted the changing tastes and interiors of the design elite in his moody gouache paintings. Bruce Webber, Greta Garbo, and Diana Vreeland have all fallen under the spell of the unique brushwork that has influenced architectural illustrators for decades. A lifelong New Yorker, Goodman was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 1987, and continues to paint each day in his Manhattan studio. In 2007, he published his first book, Jeremiah: A Romantic Vision.
