As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkein. Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1977. An unusually good copy of the true first printing, as denoted by a misprint among the other books listed by the author, "Father Giles of Ham" instead of "Farmer." Tolkien considered this his most important work, a great collection of tales and legends that set the stage for the Ring saga, with beautiful foldout map of Beleriand. Book is very good, with faint foxing to fore-edge, dust jacket has one tiny tear to rear.
