Why We Love This

Taken from a picture of a mosaic from the Kif mountains of North Morocco, this image was reworked by dropping and adding colors. The artist then distressed the overall work with acrylic paints, giving it the spirit of bohemian Morocco. The work features an artist signature on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The image is printed with UV inks on reclaimed wood. Each board is hand-selected by craftsmen for printing, making this piece truly one of a kind.

About Parvez Taj

A visionary artist, Parvez Taj creates uniquely evocative works for the wall. To achieve his original images, he freely mixes photography, UV inks, and water-based and acrylic paints with a variety of substrates such as aluminum, canvas, cork, and recycled woods. Born and raised in Canada, Taj currently lives in Los Angeles.
