A minimalist drawing of a woman seen in profile, with a swoop of hair above her coat collar. This print is set off in a blonde wood frame.
Jo Ann Belson's clean, continuous, spontaneous lines strikingly exemplify her less-is-more creative process and philosophy, in riveting, tactile portraits of her past, present, and inner world. She studied at the Chouinard Art Institute and Cal Arts, as well as under the painter Martin Lubner. Belson's work is regularly showcased at the LA Art Show, and has been featured in The New York Times and across many shelter publications.
