Why We Love This

"1960 oil still life by noted expressionist West Coast artist Byron Randall (1918–1999). In 1939, Newsweek Magazine called Randall, 'the find of the season.' He was married to Emmy Lou Packard, assistant to Diego Rivera. His work is held in permanent collections of the Phillips Collection, the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the Oakland Museum of California. Displayed in a vintage lath wood frame painted gold."

About Lost Art Salon

For the past 11 years, artists Rob Delamater and Gaetan Caron’s Lost Art Salon has been a hub of inspiration and affordable period artwork ( called it “an obsessive collector’s stash of original 20th-century works”). Their fine-art collection includes thousands of original works from rediscovered and historically significant 20th-century and contemporary artists, with all framing done in-studio. In this mix: desirable pieces from their most collectible artists, including their own works.
