Why We Love This

"1962 oil painting titled Dance by New York artist and art collector Anne Granick (1911-2006), who was self-taught and a dancer for the Martha Graham Company in New York. She is known for her figures that often use the movements and forms of dance as a medium of expression. She and her husband, Arthur, collected and befriended many noted artists including Mark Rothko, Milton Avery, David Burliuk, Jennings Tofel and Adolph Gotlieb. Unframed."

About Lost Art Salon

For the past 11 years, artists Rob Delamater and Gaetan Caron’s Lost Art Salon has been a hub of inspiration and affordable period artwork ( called it “an obsessive collector’s stash of original 20th-century works”). Their fine-art collection includes thousands of original works from rediscovered and historically significant 20th-century and contemporary artists, with all framing done in-studio. In this mix: desirable pieces from their most collectible artists, including their own works.
