Why We Love This

In soft neutral tones accented with blue, pink, and black, this abstract work radiates subtle beauty. This is an original painting by artist Lola Donoghue, created in acrylic on canvas with a 1.5-inch stretcher bar. The work arrives ready to hang.

About Lola Donoghue

Hailing from Ireland, painter Lola Donoghue holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. Imbued with a painterly, yet childlike quality, Donoghue's work is characterized by a predominantly white-on-white palette, layered with a mix of muted colors and splashes of bright neon. In her compositions, Donoghue creates a delicate balance between linear forms and more built-up areas of paint. "My paintings are captured moments and experiences," says Donoghue. "They are always an emerging process, I never know quite what the finished piece will look like. I like when I discover things by accident and I usually let this dictate the direction of the painting." Donoghue's work is held in private collections all over the world.
