About Robert Weiss

Robert M. Weiss home accessories share a luminous quality: the unique, Old World glow of verre églomisé, or reverse-painted glass. When the Spaniards settled in Peru in the 16th century, they brought many of their household items with them, including reverse-painted Venetian glass mirrors. In time, a core of Peruvian craftsmen began to re-create these masterpieces locally. Today every Robert M. Weiss creation is handcrafted and painted in Peru by artisans who proudly continue this tradition.
