Why We Love This

Bold brushwork and vibrant color characterize this oil on canvas painting of a race and jockey sprinting toward the finish line. Painted on unstretched canvas. Dated 1981 and signed "Lucian Lupinski" lower right. A well listed American artist, Lupinski is known for his portraiture and has painted murals for the Toledo Cathedral and the Museum of Art and Industry in Chicago. Unframed.

About Castles and Attics

DeWayne Butler formed Castles and Attics based on his belief that "it's all about the stuff." The thrill of finding obscure pieces worthy of greater attention and sharing them is his passion. He believes the world is a treasure chest full of artistry and that vintage and antique items have stories to tell. Quality offerings and customer satisfaction are DeWayne Butler's goals.
