Why We Love This

With expressive and Impressionist-style brushwork, this acrylic on board painting captures the ballet dancer Vaslav Nijinsky in his 1910 Paris performance of Giselle against a background of blue and red. Signed "Lucian Lupinski" lower right. A well listed American artist, Lupinski studied under Theodore Keane at Ohio State University and exhibited his works in over 300 exhibitions during his lifetime. Unframed. Image, 10.25"L x 14.5"H.

About Castles and Attics

DeWayne Butler formed Castles and Attics based on his belief that "it's all about the stuff." The thrill of finding obscure pieces worthy of greater attention and sharing them is his passion. He believes the world is a treasure chest full of artistry and that vintage and antique items have stories to tell. Quality offerings and customer satisfaction are DeWayne Butler's goals.
