Why We Love This
A touch of brilliance: Golden lines wave across a clean, white ground like electric currents.
Waylande Gregory Studios
After the discovery of an immense treasure trove of work in the basement of the Gregory Estates Philanthropic Foundation, Waylande Gregory Studios was founded by Gregory’s great-grandnephew Bryan Downey and fashion entrepreneur Mickey Rosmarin. Waylande Gregory Studios creates decorative porcelains and ceramics originally designed by one of the great modernists of the 20th century, finished with signature matte glazes and hand detailed with 22-karat gold and platinum.
This handmade ceramic bud vase features a white
matte glaze on the interior and exterior. It is embellished with a hand-carved design glazed in matte black. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly alike.
